At the edge of the world way up in the sky,
On a cloud made of hope sits a Shadow and cry,
And its tears are like stars shining a light so bright
That floods all of the world through the darkness of night.
It takes a look at the ground and the world’s devastation
Shedding tear after tear for all its creation
For the lack of compassion, for the cruelty of some
For the dark of their souls and for what they’ve become.
Should I let them to their own and let evil grow much higher?
Should I give them one more chance or will you sink their souls in fire?
Should I hope that they’ll become what was always first intended?
Should all pay for the wrongs of some and destroy what I’ve created?
Painful feelings of sorrow sink its heart into hatred
For the evil that drives them and the wars they’ve created
For the madness of men should the Shadow take action
And let free all the thoughts that contemplate on destruction?
Should I let them to their own and let evil grow much higher?
Should I give them one more chance or will you sink their souls in fire?
Should I hope that they’ll become what was always first intended?
Should all pay for the wrongs of some and destroy what I’ve created?
At the edge of the world in the skies far away
The Shadow’s contemplating still at this world’s Judgment Day
I shall put it on a scale and hope for everyone’s sake
It will tip for love and peace or else there’ll be no escape.
Should I let them to their own and let evil grow much higher?
Should I give them one more chance or will you sink their souls in fire?
Should I hope that they’ll become what was always first intended?
Should all pay for the wrongs of some and destroy what I’ve created?
Should I?
Should I?
